Trust me ... my brother nailed me in the cheek/jaw with one when I was a kid. It hurt a lot. And I think it was on purpose. At least he didn't shoot the gun. A better way to retailiate would have been to pummel the guy with a whole bunch of snowballs, and drop him in a high snowbank. Show some sense of humour/human! Those ice snowballs really hurt.
