no way husband would get away without helping in the kitchen, regardless of who was here. christmas dinner wouldn't have been as good without his l33t gravy skillz and his muscles smushing up those taters. we've always shared kitchen duties when we cook large meals. thankfully he doesn't like football (or any of the other typically "male" sports).

WELL, what a nice surprise to see my toothy grin in your blog!! I feel almost famous now! It was a great day even if the men didn't help, just being with family is great any time. By the way, this the first time I've ever commented on anything online. You are privileged.

I'm so blessed--my husband LOVES to be in the kitchen. We do most of the cooking together, and we wouldn't have it any other way! Although, I wouldn't complain if we had a slightly larger kitchen...

Well, isn't that just like a man? Yep, I think that was a universal practice because that's EXACTLY what the men were doing here, as well. Well, no football because there were no games on at that specific time, but they found something to replace it. I complain, but in truth, us women had a pretty good time in the kitchen. Of course there was a little bit of wine involved... =)
