My life is full of children, family, home, land, bees, work, love, laughter and everyday life.
My Monthly Calendar. Because my life is too crazy to keep track of without it.
My husbands iphone. It's applications are really useful and easy to get too!
Our Quicken finance software. Because it's nice to remember that you actually had money before paying the bills.
Coupon ads. They are the best way to save at the grocery store and finding them is like a scavenger hunt.
DVR. Because even a homemaker needs a break when the kids are asleep.
This is cute…I know what you mean. We all go through this, I think. Well, the honest ones, that is…
I can remember when my daughters were young I ate many cold meals. As far as the sharing of food…….they are 18 and 15 and still asking for bites of mine!! I have found a successful way for me to lose a few pounds has alwasy been moderation in everything I eat, fried or not, and plenty of exercise. I will be following that practice soon after the holidays.
I can totally relate! I have found that my 1-year-old eats better if he eats off of my plate instead of his own. If nothing else, it has helped me cut back on portion sizes for myself.
My mom’s trick was to finish off what was left on our plates and not eat her own meal; she stayed slender all her life. Me? Not so much (ho). I don’t know what happened – quitting smoking, ignoring calories, not exercising or drinking enough water. Any combo of those. “Salad is good. Salad is yummy. Salad is my friend. I will eat salad and not chocolate.” Nope, not working. *Sigh*
I saw your blog linked on PW today! How exciting is that? Let us know how much your site traffic increases.
“Fried Pheasant?” You’re like, my hubby’s dream woman. The closest I’ll get the pheasant is reading about it. =)
P.S. Don’t worry about your love for fried food. I’m pretty sure that one of these days the Food Pyramid people will determine that it’s actualy good for us. I’m holding out for that moment. =)
