My life is full of children, family, home, land, bees, work, love, laughter and everyday life.
My Monthly Calendar. Because my life is too crazy to keep track of without it.
My husbands iphone. It's applications are really useful and easy to get too!
Our Quicken finance software. Because it's nice to remember that you actually had money before paying the bills.
Coupon ads. They are the best way to save at the grocery store and finding them is like a scavenger hunt.
DVR. Because even a homemaker needs a break when the kids are asleep.
That is soooo awesome! I’m totally jealous! I missed her when she was in Denver, and now I’m in Florida. She’s my hero.
I love pioneer woman, I am soooo jealous!
Sounds like you had a fun albeit long evening! You look so excited in the photos….I felt excited for you!
I am so jealous!!! I went to the signing in Salt Lake City but after waiting 2 hrs outside in the freezing cold, i gave up. I wish it had been in an auditorium like you had. I love that you had MM sign your books, i totally would’ve done that. And i LOVE that she knows your blog! That is very cool. I’ve wondered if she ever has time to look at any of the blogs that follow her and i guess she does! Glad you had fun
I’m jealous.
very
very
jealous.
Sounds like so much fun! To be honest, I’m completely jealous.
So, did you get your t-shirt? What’s it like?
Hooray for Pioneer Woman! I love her. Your husband is so sweet and patient. My husband is like that too… I think you and I are pretty lucky to have found guys that will do things like that and not complain (and even smile!)
What are the odds she’ll come to Oregon for a book signing? I’m thinking I’m just going to have to be content to live vicariously through you!
Thanks for the great recap! I loved it!
Hey, you guys captured some great moments. It was fun waiting in line with you.
I’m ready for a nap, how about you?!
Great posting of the Gala Event! It was nice to meet you and April.
You ended up with some very nice photos.
I’m still weeding through mine…besides still learning my new camera, I guess I can’t complain since I heard so many others talking, that they were having horrific problems especially when taking photos aimed towards the stage. Something about the combination of the lightening and the red chairs / carpet…not sure but it sure did a number on photo taking.
Sure was a fun night.
Sweet! That must have felt so good–that Ree KNEW you! Lucky, lucky, lucky. I’m not even going to bother telling you I’m jealous… kind of speaks for itself.
How cool for you!! And MM doesn’t look bored, just tired – or is that the deer-in-the-headlights look? And you do NOT look like a dork. Thanks for sharing your evening with the rest of us little people who didn’t get to be there. Glad you had a great time!
I think you look very pretty in your candy cane striped shirt! How exciting for you to get to go and meet Ree and her fam! I am very jealous. The closest stop to me was SLC and I’m sad I couldn’t go!
You got a t-shirt?! I wish she would have given away t-shirts at the signing I went to! Thankfully she did 2 signings in Tulsa because I missed the first. But, I didn’t get no stinkin’ t-shirt!
Looks like you guys had fun… that’s great.
Ohhh, how fun! That’s great!
That’s so awesome! Well, all of it except for the 3 1/2 hour wait lol.
Way cool story. Sounds like a great experience! Grats.
I, too, wish I had gone to the Denver signing–was having a crappy time around then, but ah well!
Ah, lucky lady!!! And how sweet of your man to accompany you. I’m pretty sure I would have to lie and tell my hubby we were attending a monster truck rally or elk calling seminar to get him there. I think Ree seems like a super-cool person and definitely the pot o’ gold in the world of us bloggers…and she knows you! Glad for you!

Oh Lucky you! I would love to meet her someday! Love the picture of the little men and the girls lined up…too sweet!
That is awesome! I went to her booksigning in SLC and we waited and waited. I don’t think the bookstore had a clue as to how many people would show up so they weren’t as prepared as they should have been. Things worked out and we made it in. Ree was very nice as was Missy. We got to talk to her quite a bit. Her book is so beautiful! Glad you had the opportunity to go!
Thanks for the report; I put a link to this in a blog entry. You fellow bloggers almost make me feel as though I was there too.
Love your blog! I was there too! You have a picture of my daughter (in the pink twirly skirt) getting the book signed. Thanks for sharing your experience with her! Here’s mine..http://asktheebayqueen.com/index.php/2009/11/19/the-pioneer-woman-comes-to-kansas-city/
Wasn’t it fun, though? I went with a friend to see her in St Louis, and we had so much fun, too! Thanks for sharing your photos and experience!
*sigh* I’m jealous. I had hoped to make it to one of her signings here in the upper Midwest, but the stars were not aligned to make it so. It looks like you had a fabulous time
GREAT story! I saw her in Minneapolis and it COMPLETELY rocked!!!!
How exciting! I wish she would come to my neck of the woods!
What fun!!
I get to go on the 8th of December! This makes me anticipate it even more!
What a great night!
You went to Ree’s booking signing and met MM!! You are a very lucky gal!! I would be more excited meeting her than a celebrity!
As well, she knew who you were!! I feel privileged being that I know you through your blog. It’s kind of like “degrees of separation”. I checked out Ree’s book tour schedule and thought that even it was remotely close to Ontario, Canada…I would make the drive! However, I am the very proud owner of her cookbook and have looked at it many times!! A few of her recipes have made me very popular but the thing is that I don’t want to reveal my secret!! Great pics. Do you drive a Vibe? I’m thinking that we drive the exact car and colour??!! Let me know.
I came over from the PW’s blog. It looks like you had a good night. That’s so neat that you got to go see her and that she knew your blog!!!
i’m the one getting my book singned by the boys!!!!
