A Screamer In The Car

by the Provident Woman | December 15th, 2009

We had a long car ride this past weekend. Well, not that long. But for kids it was. Three Hours there on Saturday and three hours back on Sunday.

Dean had a couple of huge fits in both car rides. Here was one starting.

Oh, man he needs some lotion on his face. Sorry, baby.

It was the sun. I know, I know. They make those sun shades for cars. But the sun moves. It could be shining through the windshield and he throws a fit.

So this screaming continued.

And continued. But isn’t he just a cutie when he’s throwing a fit? If he just wasn’t so darn loud.

Just a note, blaring the radio just makes him scream louder.

I know I’m just grandma, but the only time his temper tantrums get to me is when we are closed in a car. Love him, love him. Memere

Fortunately my kids always snoozed out when we took road trips!

Well, you know if you were any kind of mom you would figure out a way to redirect the position of the sun. (Seriously, though, for as easy-going as kids can be with the whole joi-de-vivre thing they’ve got going…they can be big crab-buckets!)
    Cute pictures! =)

What if you put a paper bag over his head to block the sun? Just kidding! A face like that is too cute to cover up!
    Love your sis.

Awww, poor baby! Did he not even try to block the sun with his hands? Love these pictures, they just precious. I hope that doesn’t sound insane or something.

Also? I can’t remember how I got here. Could you show me the way out? I think I came in through the kitchen.
